Samarkand to host CIS Ministerial Council on 14 April
MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) — A regular meeting of the CIS Ministerial Council will be held in Samarkand on 14 April. The meeting will be held in a face-to-face format, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The agenda includes ten items. The members of the council are set to exchange views on topical issues on the international agenda and also to discuss the issue of the CIS Spartakiad among children with disabilities, to sum up the plan of CIS multi-level ministerial consultations and the plan of action to intensify partnership between the foreign ministries of the CIS countries in 2022.
The foreign ministers are also expected to consider the topics related to the definition of the sports, cultural and youth capitals of the CIS, assigning the status of a base organization in the training and retraining of journalists, interaction on the registration of persons subject to deportation, certificates of return.
