M: Cooperation between Belarus, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast should remain vibrant
MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – The results of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast are not bad, the task is to maintain momentum, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Gleb Nikitin, BelTA has learned.
“Our previous meeting has proved to be quite fruitful. The trade is growing, the Belarusian export to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast is on the rise, so is the export from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast to Belarus. This is the result of our efforts to build close ties between economic entities as well as the good will of government agencies,” said Roman Golovchenko.
The prime minister emphasized the relevance of the governor’s visit to Belarus. “It is timed to the TIBO 2023 expo. We are glad that the region has its pavilion there. It is very important now to promptly resolve issues related to industrial software. Belarusian developers plan to take an active part in a thematic exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, to hold a number of bilateral meetings,” said the Belarusian head of government.
