Laos’ parliamentary delegation to visit Belarus on 18-22 April
MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) — A Lao parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the Economy, Technology and Environment Committee of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Linkham Douangsavanh is set to pay a visit to Belarus on 18-22 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The head of the Lao parliamentary delegation is expected to meet with Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Valery Mitskevich. The parties will exchange opinions on the development of the relations between Belarus and Laos, cooperation in the international arena, including within the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations.
In order to develop bilateral practical cooperation, the Lao delegation will visit the 29th International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO 2023, the Hi-Tech Park, and the Great Stone Industrial Park.
The cultural part of the program will include a visit to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
