Industrial cooperation seen as main area of Belarus-Nizhny Novgorod Oblast cooperation
MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) — The most important area of interaction between Belarus and Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast is industrial cooperation, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Gleb Nikitin on 18 April, BelTA has learned.
“We need to maintain and strengthen the pace of our cooperation. There are still plenty of niches. We have been actively developing cooperation in industrial cooperation. There are prospects in electric transport. Our joint tramway project is successfully developing. There are also prospects to purchase rolling stock — electric buses and trolleybuses. We will discuss these issues today,” Roman Golovchenko said.
In his words, there are also good results in cooperation in the construction sector.
“Nizhny Novgorod Oblast took an active part in the exhibition of tourism services Leisure 2023 in Minsk,” the prime minister said.
