Good platform for dialogue between private sector, Belarusian government found

MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – The Assembly of Business Circles is a good platform for a constructive dialogue between the private sector and the authorities. Chairwoman of the Economy, Budget, and Finance Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Tatiana Runets mentioned it during the 20th Assembly of Business Circles that is taking place in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Tatiana Runets said: “This event is a good platform for a constructive dialogue between the private sector and the authorities, a place where we could hear each other and exchange opinions. I am very proud of Belarusian entrepreneurs. They are the people, who are trying to advance our economy to new heights despite various complications.” In her words, small and medium private enterprises account for 30% of Belarus’ GDP.
The senator wished good and fruitful work to all participants of the assembly.
The Assembly of Business Circles is taking place in the National Library in Minsk. It is one of the most important events that traditionally take place with unfailing commitment to the observance of national interests and optimization of the constructive dialogue between authorities, the private sector, and the civil society. Participants of the assembly are expected to discuss matters of current interest and priority avenues of entrepreneurship development in Belarus.
As part of the assembly a solemn ceremony will take place to award winners of the 15th nationwide contest “Belarus’ best city (district, oblast) for business”. A special nomination “For the best mass media coverage of entrepreneurship” has been instituted within the framework of the contest. Apart from that, results of measuring the 18th index of business optimism will be summarized. A national business platform “Partnership of the state, the private sector, and the society amid new challenges” will be adopted.
