Belarusian Cement Company to set up trading house in Russia

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) — During the official visit of the Russian government delegation to Belarus, OOO Vektor company and Belarusian Cement Company (BCC) signed a long-term international contract on joint activities, BelTA learned from the press service of the Construction and Architecture Ministry of Belarus.

«The contract is an important step towards strengthening economic relations between Russia and Belarus, contributes to trade between the two countries and friendly relations. Using the production facilities of OOO Vektor, the parties will set up a BCC-Soyuz trading house that will supply up to 2 million tonnes of high-quality cement per year to the Russian market. The trading house plans to gain a foothold in the Russian market and provide customers with a wide selection of high-quality cement. The company offers competitive prices for its product, which makes it more affordable for consumers,» the press service said.

Belarusian cement will be delivered to the Russian market by road and rail from Belarusian Cement Plant and Krichevtsementnoshifer located in Mogilev Oblast. These plants are located just 500km from Moscow, which ensures fast delivery to the end user. Thus, thanks to the convenient location of production facilities and efficient logistics, the BCC-Soyuz trading house can provide a reliable and fast supply of high-quality cement to the Russian market.
