Belarusian ambassador to Kazakhstan meet with leaders of Belarusian ethno-cultural associations
MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin held a meeting with the leaders of the Belarusian ethno-cultural associations of Astana, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and Mangystau regions, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan.
The head of the diplomatic mission congratulated Dmitry Ostankovich, Chairman of the Belarusian Cultural Center Radzima in Astana, on receiving the state award Shapagat awarded to him by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his services to peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.
Ambassador Pavel Utyupin informed the meeting participants of the cooperation with Kazakhstan in trade and humanitarian matters, and outlined the prospects and areas of cooperation with Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the events planned by the embassy in 2023.
The leaders of the associations shared their experience and the plans to hold events to mark the upcoming important public holidays in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
