Belarus-Indonesia forum to take place in May 2023

MOSCOW, 18 April (BelTA) — Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi met with Indonesian Ambassador to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Jose Antonio Morato Tavares on 18 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“The parties discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements to intensify trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Special attention was paid to the preparation for the Belarusian-Indonesian business forum in Moscow, which is due in May 2023 as part of the participation of Belarusian and Indonesian companies in the EAEU-Indonesia business dialogue,” the press service said.
The Belarusian ambassador handed over an official invitation from Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo to Minister of Agriculture of Indonesia Syahrul Yasin Limpo to visit the 33rd international specialized exhibition Belagro in Minsk on 6-10 June. “We have agreed to work out the possibility of holding a joint working group on cooperation in the agricultural sector during the exhibition,” the press service added.
